Hi,
I am glad
you are here

My name is Corinna, and I am a certified mindfulness meditation teacher living in Cologne, Germany and co-founder of the INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION. Besides meditation I am offering mindfulness retreats and workshops in German and English, online and in person. My work is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. I am a therpeutic pedagogue and author of the book “Ich bin eine gute Mutter” (Campus, Frankfurt NY/ Beautiful People, South Korea).
Fifteen years ago, in the midst of deep personal loss, I discovered mindfulness. Ever since, the practice itself, the wisdom imparted by my teachers, and the warmth of the community of practitioners have profoundly influenced my life. This inner mastery is a quiet kind of power — to understand how to work with your thoughts and feelings so that we are not ruled by then. Over time, I’ve come to see that mindfulness is not only a personal practice; it’s also essential to how we live together. When we learn to notice our impulses, to gently question the stories we carry, and to hold space for difficult feelings with compassion instead of reacting on autopilot, we begin to change. We become more patient, more understanding, and more connected to others. In a world marked by growing aggression and division, the ground feeling less certain this is not a luxury but a necessity for peaceful coexistence — because inner peace is the foundation for outer peace.
Mindfulness is a journey, we all don’t have to walk alone. This is why I founded the INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION together with my friend and colleague Chornay Marshall from South Africa. The International Meditation is offered every Sunday by a collective of dedicated mindfulness teachers from South Africa, Sweden, the US, Argentina, Chile, Romania and Germany. Here, people from around the world come together to learn, practice, and support one another. You are more than welcome to join.
